2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road
TW-1 is our first program truck, acquired in September of 2021. At a seemingly crazy time with regard to Tacoma interest across the United States, we searched high and low for our first Tacoma to begin building up as a capable overlanding truck ready to support Two Wolf Foundation programming.
After several months of searching, we found this 2021 TRD Off-Road in Greensboro, North Carolina already built with a ton of aftermarket parts and modifications. It was almost too good to be true! It was exactly what we were looking for to serve as the cornerstone of our program fleet. We had our friends over at Apex Overland in Reidsville, NC give the truck a full inspection and they provided the seal of approval.
Since TW-1 has joined the Two Wolf Foundation fleet, it has served us well in several trips including a 3,200 mile trip from Alabama to Arizona to join forces with the Arizona Trail Association VETS program to build a new section of the Arizona National Scenic Trail.
